Hi everyone, Buzz here!
I know we haven’t been posting much the past few days and I apologize. The semester is well underway and this week has been pretty hectic for all of here at DTIAB. For me, it seems like all my professors decided to make everything due this week and said “Hey, let’s through in some exams while we’re at it.”
As for new articles and such, we plan to be back on schedule with regular postings by Thursday February 20, 2014. We might be able to squeeze some little articles in here and there within the next week, but if you don’t see anything from us in this time frame, don’t panic. I promise we are still here, we’re just swamped in school work.
In light of Valentine’s Day coming up in a couple of days, check out this video of a romantic Disney Side.

For Disney Parks new campaign they had some well known social media All Stars visit the Disneyland Resort in California to show their Disney Side! These videos are all so completely Disney. This is probably one of my new favorite campaigns that Disney has had in recent years, and definitely makes me want to see everyone’s Disney Side!

Pirates of the Caribbean is a classic attraction, and every time you ride it truly never gets old! So expose your Pirate side, and have a jolly good time singing along with that bottle of rum in your hand!

Disney has recently released a new campaign called “Show Your Disney Side.” The idea is that everyone has a Disney side to them. It’s the side that appears the moment you set foot into the parks. But don’t worry! Let’s take it one step further and say that it is a side of you that comes out on a regular basis. Whether it’s dressing up as your favorite character while going to the parks or using random household objects to make Disney references, we all have a “Disney Side.” I’m going to go out on a limb here, but I’m sure we all have at least one “dinglehopper” lying around the house. I also think it’s safe to say that if a handsome stranger ever can into our towers we would knock them out with a frying pan.
There are two commercials out for this campaign that really capture that “Disney Side.” They show adults bringing out their inner child. It’s really important that as we grow up we don’t lose sight of the child inside of us. In this day and age, we can get so absorbed in social media, our phones, and work that we forget to have good, old fashioned fun, just like when we were kids. By showing your “Disney Side,” we can accomplish that.
This is one advertisement for the campaign and parks that is currently playing.

It really captures that element of “you’re never too old for Disney magic.” The other video has the same idea with a father with his children in a hardware store. When he passes a welding mask, he brings out his “Disney Side” and plays out his inner Darth Vader. These are fun advertisements that a lot of people will be able to relate to.
Now, you can show your “Disney Side” too! Through social media sites, we are able to upload our videos and pictures of us showing this side. Instagram, Twitter, Vine, Facebook, and Google+ are websites where you can post your “Disney Side.” All you have to do is upload your photos and/or videos and hashtag #DisneySide. On top of these websites, you can also head on over to DisneySide.com and upload your images and videos there as well.
Now, go on- “show your Disney side.” Don’t be shy!!
